2024 was the Year of the Dragon in Chineese Zodiac, also associated with the element of Wood. In 2024, we experienced a rare celestial event known as 'The Great North American Eclipse' where the moon completely aligned over the sun. I gathered with friends under the Eclipse with our crystals and art supplies allowing inspiration to flow from the event, and this is what came. 🐉
This painting is symbolic of harnessing and celebrating the sacred energies around you- flowing from the celestial skies, through the elements of earth and the Ancestral spirits that surround us.
