An unforgettable evening of books, storytelling, and celebration is coming to Litchfield Books in Pawleys Island!

Join bestselling author Mary Alice Monroe and Barbara Neimer Bergwerf for a special After Hours in-conversation event, book signing, and the official presentation of the inaugural Litchfield Books Literary Award winners.

This award was created to encourage and support the next generation of storytellers, inviting writers under eighteen from Horry and Georgetown County schools to submit original short fiction for a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize. Thanks to the support of readers, local book clubs, and visiting authors, significant awards will also be presented to finalists during the ceremony.

Guests will enjoy lite bites, drinks, an in-conversation book talk, and the awards presentation before the evening concludes with a book signing.
