Love Van Kind 🚐 Family adventures in a Class B van
🏕️ Exploring America, one mile at a time
✨ Chasing the magic in-between

09/26/2026

Apparently we’re doing van life a little differently. 😂🚐

We bought the van for peaceful mornings, beautiful views, quiet nights under the stars and unforgettable adventures.

And technically… we have gotten all of those things.

We’ve also gotten chaos, questionable decisions, ridiculous pictures, things that break at extremely inconvenient times, meals that barely qualify as meals, and enough stories that begin with “Well… this wasn’t the plan” to last us a lifetime. 😂

But maybe that’s actually the best part.

We’re not out here trying to create the perfect version of van life.

We’re just living ours.

A little messy. A little ridiculous. And usually laughing somewhere in the middle of it. 🤍

Every family has one. 😂

Ours is Logan.

You never really know what he’s going to say, what he’s going to do, or why someone happened to be recording when it happened. 🤣

And honestly… that’s kind of the point around here.

Love Van Kind isn’t just the places we go. It’s the people we go with, the ridiculous moments we didn’t plan, and all the stuff that happens somewhere in between. 🩵✌️

Welcome to Logna in the Wild. 🎥😂
Something tells me this won’t be his last episode.

Come for the road trips. Stay for the chaos. 🌲🚐

Day 9 of 10 — TOGETHER 🩵

We’ve stood in front of some pretty incredible views.

Mountains. Canyons. Rivers. Tiny towns we never planned on stopping in.

But when I look back through the pictures, something funny happens.

The places are beautiful.
But the person standing beside me is what I remember most.

The dinners outside the van. The long drives. The ridiculous pictures. The conversations nobody else heard. Laughing over absolutely nothing.

We spend so much of life chasing the next destination, milestone or beautiful view.

But someday, I don’t think we’ll wish we had seen one more mountain.

I think we’ll wish for one more ordinary afternoon with the people we love.

One more dinner outside.
One more ridiculous picture.
One more drive with nowhere particularly important to be.

So take the picture. Make the memory. Be ridiculous.

And love the people standing beside you while you still get to. 💛✌️

It’s here. 🎬🤍

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that begin a little rushed, a little unplanned…and possibly with peanut butter for dinner. 😂

Our newest Love Van Kind story is officially live on YouTube.

This weekend started with us racing out of the valley toward TimberJam and turned into one of those adventures that reminded us why we started documenting these moments in the first place.

The music.
The mountains.
The laughter.
The conversations after everything got quiet.

And all those little moments in between that probably wouldn’t mean much to anyone else—but somehow become the ones we remember.

This is Part 1 of our TimberJam weekend. 🎶🚐

We put a lot of heart into this one, and we’d love to have you come along with us.

🎬 Watch the full story now on YouTube — Love Van Kind.

And if you watch it, come back and tell us your favorite moment. We genuinely want to know. 🤍

Somewhere along the way, we stopped believing joy had to wait for everything to be okay.

We’ve laughed through hard seasons. Made terrible jokes when life felt heavy. Found reasons to be ridiculous on days that gave us plenty of reasons not to be.

Not because the hard things weren’t real.

Because the joy was real, too.

I think sometimes we treat happiness like a destination — something waiting for us after the stress settles, the body heals, the worry passes, or life finally gets a little easier.

But life has taught us something different.

Joy doesn’t wait for life to be perfect.

Sometimes joy is a breathtaking view.

And sometimes it’s two trekking poles, an increasingly ridiculous wife, and a husband slowly walking out of the picture because he has officially reconsidered every decision that brought him here. 😂

Maybe finding the magic isn’t about creating a perfect life.

Maybe it’s simply noticing the beautiful, ridiculous, ordinary moments already happening in the middle of this one.

☀️ Choose the laugh. Take the picture. Be ridiculous.

Those might just become the moments you remember most.

Day 7 of 10 — GRACE 🤍

Somewhere along the road, I had to learn that resting and giving up are not the same thing.

There were beautiful places just outside the van doors that I couldn’t explore. Days when Jake wandered the campground while I stayed tucked beneath blankets, letting my body heal.

And for someone who has always wanted to go, see, do… that wasn’t easy.

But maybe grace is realizing you don’t have to earn every beautiful moment.

Sometimes the adventure is the mountain.
Sometimes it’s the road.
And sometimes it’s simply lying still, listening to the river outside, and letting yourself heal.

Rest isn’t time stolen from the journey.
Rest is part of the journey. 🤍

Dear friends,

We spend a surprising amount of our lives waiting.

Waiting for the vacation.
The weekend.
The milestone.
The good news.
The moment when life finally settles down enough for us to enjoy it.

But what if this is it?

Not all of it, of course. There are still mountains to climb, places to see, dreams to chase and roads we haven’t traveled yet.

But this ordinary Tuesday-night kind of stuff?

Pizza boxes on a picnic table.
Storm clouds rolling over the mountains.
Laughing about absolutely nothing.
Sitting somewhere beautiful with someone you love and realizing there is nowhere else you need to be.

These are the big moments, too.

Maybe presence isn’t about slowing life down.

Maybe it’s simply learning to recognize your life while you’re living it.

Because someday, we have a feeling we’ll look back and realize the moments we thought were just the spaces between the important things…

were actually some of the most important things of all. 🩵

Dear friends,

There’s a strange thing that happens as we move through life.

Sometimes the circumstances don’t change.
The mountain is still the mountain.
The road is still long.
And the things we wish had happened differently… still happened.

But somewhere along the way, we learn where to look.

We begin noticing the light coming through instead of only the clouds gathering overhead. We notice the tiny openings. The unexpected beauty. The people standing beside us. The moments we once would have hurried past.

Maybe that’s what perspective really is.

Not convincing ourselves that everything is beautiful.

But realizing that beauty and difficulty were never opposites.

They can exist in the very same moment.

A hard season can still hold laughter.
An uncertain road can still hold wonder.
A life that didn’t go according to plan can still become a life you’re incredibly grateful to be living.

The view doesn’t always change first.

Sometimes we do.

And suddenly, we begin seeing things that were there all along.

Sometimes perspective is simply learning where to look. 🤎

Keep finding the magic in the in-between.
