It could be family, friends, strangers, trying to steal all hope
At first they make it look appealing, “just try some”, they insist
They try to get you hooked, first a freebie, but please resist
Often, they will pressure you saying, “don’t tell, this will be fun”
It will be the beginning of the end, all evil we must shun (run)
The metaphor they use is, “getting High” but it’s not
Actually the opposite, a low-down dirty plot
Promptly tell an adult you trust, they will know what to do
Always stay prayed up, trust Jesus He will protect You
