What’s better than having lunch with Bo Philipps? Sharing a bottle of 2007 ERA!
Those of you who know me are aware that I’m never all that impressed with myself. This time I felt a genuine sense of pride in this wine wonder I helped create. It blew me away with its youthful, spirited performance. Silky, yet firm tannins, bright acidity and unctuous, luxurious mouthfeel... easily has 10-15 years in it, may be more. It will evolve beautifully, it’s grace and power shining poignantly in each sip.
