Day 2 back to my daily walk! 🚶‍♀️🌅☕️

Today I took it a little slower and came just short of 1.5 miles. I listened to my body because I’m trying to get back into my routine without overdoing it.

The sunrise definitely didn’t disappoint. 🌅 It was so good to be out there again and see it.

I even got in some coffee time with my parents before finishing my walk, which made the morning even better. ❤️☕️

I’m taking it one walk at a time and looking forward to getting back out there more this week. Sometimes listening to your body is just as important as pushing yourself. 💪

🚶‍♀️ Back out walking! ❤️

It’s crazy how much I missed being able to take my morning walks this week. I had my gallbladder removed last week, so I’ve had to take a little break from my normal routine.

I’ve been cleared to start walking again, but I’m taking it easy for now—not my usual 3–4 miles just yet. I go back Tuesday and hopefully will get the all-clear to get back to my normal morning routine.

But today? It felt SO good to be back out there. 🥹☀️

Sometimes you don’t realize how much something means to you until you have to take a break from it. I definitely missed these mornings! 💙

One step at a time… literally. 👟

Results are in!
Overall, I’d call my first night with the Intake nasal dilator a success. I don’t think I had the right nostril strip positioned correctly, so I’m going to give it another try tonight and make sure I apply it the right way.
Even with that, I noticed it was easier to breathe through my nose, and I woke up feeling encouraged enough to keep testing it. Sometimes it takes a night or two to get the hang of something new.
I’ll keep you posted after round two, but so far I’d say it’s been a good experience. Here’s to better sleep, one night at a time! 😴

Trying to get back to my roots and sharing more of my sleep journey.

Lately I’ve been waking up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose, so I’m trying something new tonight—the Intake nasal dilator. The idea is that it helps improve nasal breathing while you sleep, which may reduce mouth breathing and hopefully help me wake up feeling more refreshed.

I’m always interested in simple changes that could lead to better sleep, so let’s see how this goes. 🤞

I’ll report back tomorrow with an honest update on whether it made a difference!

Happy 250th Anniversary, America! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
It’s the Fourth of July, so it only seemed fitting to get out and walk 4 miles. It was hot, and I honestly wasn’t feeling my best, but I got out there and did it anyway.
Sometimes the hardest walks are the ones you’re most proud of. I’m so glad I didn’t talk myself out of it.
Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Last weekday off for a while, so I got up early and made it count. I tried to beat the Florida heat and ended up setting a personal best—1 mile in 18:01! 🎉
It wasn’t easy, but the Hamilton soundtrack kept me moving as I finished a little over 4 miles before 8 a.m.
Not a bad way to wrap up my summer of Fridays off. Now it’s time to get back to the regular routine… but these early morning walks aren’t going anywhere. ☀️🚶‍♀️

Today was a rough one, I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t sure I had it in me to finish, but I got it done—even if it meant taking a break to cool off.
I got out before the sun was fully up, and it was already unbelievably hot. I switched up my usual route and had to duck inside for a little air conditioning before heading back out to finish.
Not every walk feels great, but showing up on the hard days is what builds consistency. Progress isn’t about perfect days—it’s about refusing to give up when it’s tough.
Tomorrow is a new day, but today I’m proud I didn’t quit. ☀️💪

Last workday before the long holiday weekend! 🇺🇸

Started the day with a strong finish—4 miles before 8:00 a.m. and 10,000 steps before 9:00. It was another hot Florida morning, but I got it done before the heat really kicked in.

Now it’s time to finish the workweek and enjoy the holiday weekend! ☀️🚶‍♀️

Up late again reading, but that didn’t stop me from getting out early to beat the Florida heat. 🌅🥵

I kept it to 4 miles today because the humidity was definitely winning, and I listened to my body when it told me it was time to call it. Sometimes knowing when to stop is just as important as pushing through.

Now it’s time to get a few things done before rewarding myself with some pool time to cool off. ☀️🏊‍♀️

One step, one mile, one day at a time.
