Ron L. Jones (1956 – 2004) was a Computer Engineer, Inventor, and talented innovator. Jones, Co-founder and Chairman of SongPro Inc., was the first African American to own and manufacture a portable digital multimedia device in history.

Jones is best know for inventing the Song Pro Cartridge, a device that allowed the Gameboy to be used for MP3.
