We recently went to celebrate Coco’s Birthday, after an afternoon on Broadway we went to Pastaria for some Italian food. Now for 2 East Coast Italians (Representing Brooklyn & Philly Respectively) our bar for Italian food is HIGH and we want to be WOWED!

So, we went with an open mind and planned to just enjoy no matter what!
Guess what………… We were WOWED & BLOWN AWAY and found a new go to for Italian in Nashville, besides our own kitchen!!

We started with Risotto Balls & Marinated Olives for our appetizer and O M G!!! We were already WOWED with the balls!!

We could not WAIT to get our entrees, The Birthday Girl ordered Tagliatelle (Pasteria Bolognese) & I ordered Bucatini Rigate (Super Spicy Sauce) and WOW WOW WOW, Both of us at the same time took our first bites, and said HOME MADE PASTA!!!!
Both dishes were absolutely what food dreams and or***ms are made of!!!

Then we topped it off with a slice of Olive Oil Cake for dessert, and we fall in love with Pastaria and each other all over again!!

We cannot wait to go back and try the pizza and ummm, everything on the menu!!!
Pastaria is our official Go to Italian spot now!!
