I’m starting a new series where I will be sharing my longarm process bit by bit. This will give you a glimpse into the steps and process of quilting on a longarm. My goal is that these videos remove the intimidation factor that many have around getting and using a longarm. Yes they are big but they don’t have to be scary. Just the opposite… the most fun!

This videos shows how I reset my longarm when quilting an Edge 2 Edge (E2E) design with Prostitcher automation software in my Janome QMP20 longarm.

After my design is stitched across the quilt from left to right I need to trim my top and bobbin threads and reset the machine to begin the next row of stitching.

The Prostitcher software prompts you for what’s next making it easy to follow the steps.

Keep in mind I’m still a beginner at longarming. I’ve only have mine for 6 months and still have lots to learn. My confidence has grown exponentially since starting and I hope by showing my learning process you will realize you can do this too! Let’s longarm together!!

Grateful for the men and women who serve our country. 🇺🇸

Including my favorite Army guy who has served for 16+ years and continues to do so with a servants heart and pride for our country. So proud to call him mine! ❤️

And I want to take a moment to honor Sergeant Jonathan Currence whom my family lost last year. He leaves behind his wife (my cousin) and their 9 children plus a lot of family and friends who miss his big smile and jokes.

May we never forget the sacrifices our military and their families make for our freedom.
