It was a special treat to witness this performance at noon today at the Germantown Community Theatre from the Iris Collective ! It just kept getting better and better. No electronics at all meant an immersion into the real world, instead of a copy of it, with the most subtle nuances of harmonics possible to entertain. Fit for kings and queens, this was a very intimate hour. It was filled with passion and precision to project the heart and soul of these performers inspiring to us all. At times these guys put some serious power into their instruments with a distinct contrast to gentile flowing melodies often as a backdrop. Check out what IRIS has coming up in February!
Neighbors of Germantown Magazine will be crossing the two year mark as of February, 2023. I publish a magazine to Central Illinois that has been in print since April of 2014. Would you want to see what happens after a few years in print?

I drove out to The Bella Barn of West Tennessee Event Venue today to see what they have to offer. This is in an Amish area and what a Disneyland type layout this is for Weddings! If you want custom this is it. The inviting "feels like home" charm here is not to be duplicated. It's like stepping into a family atmosphere the new bride and groom will look forward to. I took all these photos in rapid succession so no fancy footwork here with any adjustments. What you see is what you get all designed and furnished by Patty Beck.
This is a real getaway to leave the stress of everything behind and focus only on that special day to be remembered for all time. It is about a two hour drive but that is much closer than for the people coming in from overseas, Nashville and out of state. The roads going out there are in smooth excellent condition so I found the time to roll by quick. Every angle is like a movie set. If you want to step into a post card here you go. You can even bring your own horse and ride down the isle! There are options for everything. There were massive clean open fields that look like parks that are as spacious as anything I have seen for a venue. This is rustic opulence at it's best.
There used to be a popular TV show called Dallas. I visited that movie set long ago. It didn't hold a candle to this layout. The photo ops are endless.
