I would like to congratulate the Nashville Talking Library on reaching their 45 birthday. It is hard to believe that 45 years ago today December 17th that this service began broadcasting readings of newspapers, magazines, and books over the SCA frequency of WPLN. I had the great fortune to have worked with some very talented people who made this station a reality, Alvin, Carl, Jim, Ethel, Fran, Betty, and Chuck. Here is wishing the current staff and volunteers more great years of service. I have attached a few photos of the way the service looked back in 1975.
