We were honored to assist in the initial community input meetings and outreach to property owners and residents to help make this project come to fruition.

Today we celebrated the completion of the Madison Station Blvd Complete & Green Street Project with Council Member Nancy VanReece. Thank you to all that showed up to celebrate with us! 👏👏

This project is considered a blueprint for how NDOT looks to implement complete streets in the future.

Many thanks to Williamson Inc for asking me to present "Beyond the Handshake" for their Young Professionals group. We had an interactive discussion on buildling self asteem, carrying yourself with confidence, how to greet and learn about individuals, what do you do after the intial meeting, plus much more. I thouroghly enjoyed the interaction; I hope they did.

I look forward to hearing back from many of them as to how they are implementing what was presented.

Share your thoughts tomorrow (Saturday, June 11), during a "drop in" style meeting from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Family and Children's Services, 2400 Clifton Avenue, Nashville.

Metro Parks has an opportunity to pursue a Rail-with-Greenway, a linear park with paved greenway trail for pedestrians and bicyclists, in the North Nashville area.

The proposed greenway would tie into the existing 440 Greenway near Centennial Park, follow along an existing rail line owned by Cheatham County Rail Authority (CCRA), and extend to Frankie Pierce Park and the Nashville Farmers Market.

Newsmaker: Former VP Al Gore to visit Cumberland University

Cumberland University in Lebanon has invited former Vice President Al Gore to help kick off its inaugural Cordell Hull Peace Forum this Friday.

Cumberland’s President Doctor Paul Stumb joined News 2’s Nickelle Smith to discuss the upcoming event.

Flood relief supply drive at Engel & Völkers Nashville through noon on Friday.

As many of you know, on Saturday, August 21, 2021 the several counties in Middle Tennessee experienced catastrophic flooding and flash flooding from the line of rain and storms that moved through the State. The primary counties affected were Dickson, Hickman, Houston, and Humphreys, with the City of Waverly being heavily impacted.
In times of need, we mobilize to assist those affected in our community. Engel & Völkers Nashville will be collecting and delivering Emergency Relief Items to help those impacted by the disaster. Item's in the highest demand are:

Basic Essentials – Shampoo, Soap, Razors, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Feminine Hygiene, Body Wash, Over the Counter Meds (Tylenol, Advil, etc), First Aid Kits, Body Wipes, Face Wipes, Mouthwash, Hair brushes, Hair ties,

Report: Nashville’s Homeless Community Is Getting Vaccinated At A Higher Rate Than The City As A Whole | WPLN News - Nashville Public Radio

Cooperation is key!

Since April, the Metro Public Health Department, Neighborhood Health and more than a dozen other local organizations have worked to ensure COVID-19 vaccine access to all individuals experiencing homelessness in Nashville.

100% of those experiencing homelessness now have access to the COVID-19 vaccine, and are getting vaccinated at a higher rate than the city as a whole.
