A master sound engineer, mentor, and educator, John has shaped the way music is heard and experienced for decades. His work has elevated countless artists, and his dedication to teaching ensures the next generation of music makers are empowered to create with excellence.

On September 11 at Beverly Hills, we will also celebrate the legendary Jimmy Jam () and Terry Lewis (), who will receive the Vanguard Award for their unmatched contributions to music and education.

This evening is a tribute to the people who not only define the sound of our culture but also share their knowledge and passion to keep music thriving. Proceeds support our mission to provide instruments, music education, and disaster relief to musicians in need.
