From Behind the Glass

From behind a control room window, a cheap camera lens I found at an antique shop, or a pint glass on a couch, I’ve not stopped chasing authentic, artful, meaningful encounters with the best minds of NC and beyond. I want to give the real world a piece of those fantastical worlds inside us.

Starting in 2012 with a plasticky DSLR from his dad, Josiah has pursued a lifestyle of unencumbered creativity and spontaneous abandon. Random macro shots of grass and crunchy vlogs with his brothers were pieces on the playground that led to choosing a creative life. And the cathartic bonding that happens at the peak of a fruitful collaboration is unlike anything else. Josiah is currently finishing his B.S. in Music Industry Studies at Appalachian State, running straight ahead into the professional world. I am fascinated by this primal human drive to express, to build, to scale, to create, and am committed to hearing and bolstering the stories of those souls, I’m working to give the world a tiny microscopic piece of what it needs through art.
