Thinking about moving to Franklin, Tennessee?

Who isn’t, am I right? Makes sense. It’s one of the top places people are moving to raise their families! And for good reason! People are super friendly, taxes are super low, and there is just so much freedom to be who you wanna be.

You’ll probably want to come spend a couple days here first. And if you’re anything like me, you’re already looking up where to stay, where to eat, and what life would actually feel like

So let me give you a perfect day in Franklin.

Start with where you’re staying. You really can’t go wrong. From Southall Farm & Inn to The Harpeth Hotel to some incredible historic Airbnbs, Franklin honestly feels like you’re living inside a Hallmark movie in the best way.

Grab a coffee at Hanks Filling Station or Perrenn Bakery, then walk it off down Main Street with its shops, energy, and charm.

If schools matter to you, this is where Franklin really shines. Between top ranked public schools like Independence High School and elite private options like Battle Ground Academy, this area has quietly become one of the best places in the country to raise a family.

From there, you’ve got options. You could swing by In-N-Out for a quick bite, or head over to The Factory at Franklin, which is one of my favorite spots in town. Coffee, food, shopping - it’s kind of the heartbeat of the community.

And if you’re really thinking about making the move… this is the time of day I’d go look at a few homes. Get a feel for the neighborhoods, the land, the lifestyle. Because this is where Franklin stops being a place you visit… and starts feeling like home.

After that, go enjoy some fresh air at one of the local parks or take a drive out toward Leipers Fork… it’s the kind of scenery that makes you slow down a little.

For dinner, you’ve got some heavy hitters. Cork & Cow if you want an incredible steak, or Pelato if you’re in the mood for Italian.

And to finish the night, head out to Fox & Locke or Arrington Vineyards for some live music.

April Photo Dump. 🙌🏽 I know I say this every month, but I can’t believe it’s already May. April flew by! It’s always a busy one. Easter, Keira and my birthdays. But also full of surprising moments of rest. Such a beautiful, blessed life.

From taking Amanda for a special evening at Southall to Jude calling to ask if we can fly him home for Easter to randomly running into my musical/adoptive dad hero, Steven Curtis Chapman, last night at my friend’s movie premiere. We even got to get all dressed up for a fun private concert from Big & Rich with Gretchen Wilson which was a total blast! I played my first official golf game! 9 holes at Westhaven. And I didn’t do too bad! Also, I hit 20% body fat for the first time in my life! 🎉

So many moments to celebrate with my clients as they closed on buying and selling their homes to begin a new season of life. From first time home buyers to short term rental investors to grandpas moving closer to their kids and grandkids - the whole spectrum.

Continuing to feel so beyond grateful for the amazing community around us here in Nashville. I always prayed for this and never found it. Until we moved here. It seems we aren’t the only ones. The stories I hear over and over are that The Lord brought people here for reasons they didn’t understand and they found a beautiful community to do life with. It’s unique. Dare I say special.

May is always a fun one. .n.miller and I celebrate 23 years married this month. 😍🙌🏽🎉 Our pool should be officially swim-ready this weekend! We just went under contract on our first investment property to fix up and that’s gonna be a fun project… we hope! 😂 We get to spend a few days back in the land of molten lava center of the sun weather and great Tex Mex for my Nephew’s graduation. My mom is coming to visit as we continue to try and woo her to move here. And who knows what else is in store! Christmas will be here before we know it!

It’s gonna be a good one! So thankful!
