The way back machine takes us to 2006 in NYC. We sold an incredible amount of IZ Radars and more importantly had so much fun doing so. The great has moved on the a successful career with is now with Raymond James and Barry Henderson sold after launching an incredible product for so many years. Thanks to for steering the ship for so many years. I truly have always had the best people to work with and am still in touch with almost all of them. Was cleaning out the office today and found this thing. I hadn’t turned it on in almost 20 years. In the early 2000’s made a very decent tube mic. We had a client doing a Reba record and swore that it sounded better than her famous Telefunken 251. His mic was so busy we bought one so he could have a backup. Turned it on today after testing one of our vintage U-47’s and I was reminded that it can hang in a mic shootout. Curious if anyone else ever heard this mic?

Maintenance day on the M5’s as the bulbs were burned out. We bought a few of these in the early 2000’s when ‘s team were camped out doing vocals at studio. These with our custom Sony 800g were the vocal chain for so many of those Bad Boy recordings. These things sound so incredible and transparent.

After respectfully listening to your concerns, I want to share with you that we are bringing back the perpetual plugin license model, side-by-side with the new subscriptions. You will again be able to get plugins as perpetual licenses, just as before.

In addition, those of you who already own perpetual licenses will once again be able to update your plugins and receive a second license via the Waves Update Plan—again, just as before. This option, too, will be available alongside and independently of the subscription program.

We are currently putting all our efforts into making perpetual licenses available to you again, as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you can keep up-to-date on this news page: https://www.waves.com/news/perpetual-waves-licenses-are-back where we will post the latest updates on perpetual license availability.

I would like you to know that we are committed to you, our users. We listened to your feedback, and we will continue to listen to you.
