Pumped to spend the day with wonderful people at the in Nashville!

Our team Care Transformation Studio had an opportunity to sponsor the session and we couldn’t pass up the chance to spend a day with dreamers and changemakers in healthcare. As a startup co-founder, it’s refreshing to get out of the daily tactical grind- look up - and see others “in it” with you. Being the right rooms is key and a lesson that I’m learning (slowly.) Being open, honest, and able to provide value in these settings with no expectation in return is how I operate and the only playbook I really know.

Sitting on the same couch at the Omni Hotel where I first started 10 years ago.

It was a scary proposition at the time, but the only way to go was “up”. I’ve learned so much along the way, had clients I could’ve never imagined working with, and definitely learned about bootstrapping a company the hard way.

Now I’m back on the couch having conversations with folks at as we rollout another startup, Care Transformation Studio.

It’s funny how life twists and turns, but it keeps things interesting. Here’s to more building, new industries, and lots of growth.

First now that I’ve got my results back from .

Maintaining my marathon training for April has been a constant challenge as our family has dealt with flu, and all sorts of other illnesses with a toddler.

But, I’m back at it again and now incorporating some additional detox and recovery steps into my week. I haven’t been a huge sauna person, but after seeing my bloodwork come back with super high levels indicating elevated risks for cancer, heart disease, and diabetes - I’m learning to love new behavior and habits.

Sauna has been regarded by so many for its restorative and cancer mitigating effects, and there’s also a lot I’m learning for simple recovery.

Seeing my full spectrum of minerals, hormones, and all sorts of things I didn’t even know I could test for easily has changed the game.

Now I’m really focusing on inflammation and recovery. I’ll be super pumped to say “I ran the marathon.” I don’t really care what my time is- finishing healthy is the win right now.

2024 was a roller coaster of a year. To those around me, you essentially saw me go to zero and scramble to figure out how to pull myself up again and again. It was a year of hard choices, surprises, and rebuilding.

I often felt alone trying to sort it all out and figure out how to make life work again. I had more people depending on me than ever before and I just had to figure out how to keep the engine moving.

There are five people that never doubted or stopped supporting me. To them I’m forever grateful.

Looking back I’ve learned that failure is the only real provider of lessons. Without those lessons you can’t grow into the person you’re supposed to become.

2025 is going to be different. It’s a season of building from the lessons of 2024 and making sure things are durable, exciting again, and meaningful.

I love this image from that captures the feeling of what it was like. Raw, imperfect, alone and doing my best to figure out the next right step.

To anyone else trying to figure out the next steps for 2025, I’m right there with you- building, testing, praying, and moving.

Perfect setup for a Sunday night edit session.
Love that the iPad doubles as a second monitor. I used to travel around with multiple screens, notebooks, and a bag of cables- now it’s simple, wireless, and each device is multipurpose in the Apple ecosystem.

Another trip around the sun with this beautiful lady!
Can't believe it's been another year already.

This year has been full of new challenges, new little ones, financial ups and downs, and some pretty amazing days and nights that will make great stories when we're older.
