The 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings took on their friends, the Cincinnati Buckeyes, at the Blue Ash Sports Complex on the beautifully crafted replica of historic Crosley Field. In a lively match full of big hits and strong play, the Red Stockings ultimately fell to the Buckeyes by a score of 34–16.
A heartfelt thank you to the City of Blue Ash for their wonderful hospitality and for once again inviting the Cincinnati Vintage Base Ball Club to showcase the game as it was played in 1869. And a big thank you as well to all the patrons who came out to enjoy a beautiful day of vintage base ball, your support makes these events truly special!
