What started as “probably just exhaustion” after a long cross-country trip turned into something a lot more serious. 😳

I’m now on my second day in the hospital, and based on the reports so far, the situation has some similarities to the health issues I faced when I lost my leg before. The good news is that this time, it looks like they may have caught the source of the problem earlier, and there’s more optimism about treatment and recovery.

Still… hearing words like that again hits hard.

With all that said, I’m incredibly thankful for the nurses and medical staff who’ve been helping me around the clock. Their skill, compassion, and professionalism have made a huge difference while I prepare for whatever procedures or treatments may come next.

Definitely wasn’t how I expected this trip to go.

Sometimes you have to admit when a chapter didn’t work out the way you planned… and have the guts to turn the page anyway.

Tennessee was supposed to be home. It didn’t land the way we hoped. So now we’re doing what matters most — getting back to Utah, where we can reset, regroup, and rebuild the right way.

We’re close. About $600 from making this move actually happen.
