I don’t know where to start. I met Whispering Bob Harris thirty years ago on his first visit to Nashville. He was a staunch supporter of my music and, along with Terry Wogan, brought it to a whole new audience for me in the UK. That quite literally changed my life. Bob’s deep knowledge of, and boundless love of music has launched a thousand careers like mine. He has been a champion for new artists he believes in. It’s the end of an era. He’s a legend and a lovely, kind person and I’m sending all the love and gratitude out to him now, as he makes what must be one of the toughest decisions of his life. We love you, Bob.
