Dave, aka online, is a Nashville-based financial educator, content creator, and coach who helps everyday people ditch debt, save money, and take control of their financial future — without the boring lecture. After cash flowing a $158,000 degree and graduating college debt-free (with a fully funded emergency fund and a maxed-out Roth IRA), his story was featured in Borrowed Future,

the Ramsey Solutions documentary on the student debt crisis. Since then, he’s traveled the country teaching over 1,000 students and parents how to earn a debt-free degree, led four digital personal finance courses, and helped clients collectively save and invest over $100K. He also presented on Gen Z money habits during the global launch of FleishmanHillard’s International Youth Kaleidoscope Report. Online, David reaches 1,000,000+ people each week across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter — where his honest, practical, and sometimes funny takes on money have earned him a following of 110,000+. Whether he’s speaking in schools, on stage, or through a screen, David’s mission is the same: to help people move from financial chaos to clarity — so they can stop surviving and start living on purpose. Dave is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor.

4 Signs You’re Actually Doing Well Financially, Even If It Doesn’t Feel Like It.

Scroll social media long enough and you’ll start to think everyone is richer than you.

But real wealth usually looks a lot more boring than the internet makes it seem. It looks like margin, peace, preparedness, and progress.

How many of these do you already have locked down?

Stop Holding QQQ, SPY, and GLD. Do This Instead.

While these are popular ETFs, they were built more for traders and institutions, not everyday long-term investors.

And if you’re holding them for years, the higher fees can quietly eat away at your returns.

Instead, check out these alternatives. Same exposure, lower expense ratio, but most importantly, bigger ending balance.

Comment ETF and I’ll send you the full list of institutional vs retail ETF swaps that could save you thousands over time.

If you feel behind, watch this.

Social media can make it feel like every woman is making great money, buying a home in her 20s, getting married, having kids, and hitting every life milestone right on “time.”

But real life is usually a lot less flashy and a lot more normal than the internet makes it seem.

This is your reminder that social media is not real life.

What stat do you think more people need to hear?

This FREE card could save your family hundreds this summer.

Most people think a library card is just for books, but some local libraries offer way more than that. Ebooks, audiobooks, movies, classes, Wi-Fi hotspots, research tools, and in some cities even free tickets, rentals, and creative studio access.

It’s one of the most overlooked free perks out there.
What’s the best perk your local library offers?

What's your no degree job?

These are high paying jobs that typically do not require a college degree or additional formal education, along with their median annual salaries.

I want more people to understand that being “financially successful” does not automatically mean being a college graduate.

And with a lot of these careers, the upside can be even higher depending on your industry, location, experience, and how good you get.

If you work a job that only required a high school diploma, drop your role and salary in the comments.

You might give someone else proof that there are more options than they realized.

10 Jobs with the Highest Burnout Rate in America.

A lot of these are jobs where people are expected to take care of everyone else while barely having enough support for themselves.

Some of these jobs pay well. Some do not. But burnout clearly is not just an income problem.

What job are you burning out from right now?

Not every account does the same job. These are 4 places to put your money in 2026.

Some money needs to stay safe but still earn.

Some should be invested for retirement and receive tax benefits.

And some needs to be invested but with more flexibility.

Putting the right money in the wrong place can cost you, so understanding what each account is actually for matters more than most people think.

Which one are you focused on right now: HYSA, 401K, IRA, or taxable brokerage?

Should anyone be this rich?

His net worth is so massive it almost stops feeling like real money.

So I compared it to the average American worker to make the numbers easier to understand.

The average private-sector worker earns around $37.59 per hour.

Elon Musk’s “per hour” number is in a completely different universe.

That is why a normal purchase for us can look like pocket change for him, and a massive business decision for most people can look like a rounding error.

Whether you admire it, hate it, or feel somewhere in the middle, the scale is hard to wrap your head around.

The spice doesn’t stop after the first question…

I stopped two tourists in Times Square and asked them their money red and green flags in relationships.

We got into prenups, seven-figure earners who work seven days a week, guys living with their mom after 25, first-date coupons, and financing an engagement ring you cannot afford.

Would you date coupon guy or someone that still lives with their mom?

These 2075 prices are insane.

A lot of people underestimate inflation because it feels slow year to year.

But when prices compound over 50 years, the numbers get wild fast.

This is what everyday essentials could cost in 2075 if inflation averages 3.66% per year.

Not a prediction.

Just a reminder that cash loses buying power over time, and your money needs a plan.

Which 2075 price shocked you the most?
