This is the project that started when we answered a cold call. Folks who had shot a D & D style game show and needed it edited and packaged. Now these months later, itās still as hilarious as that first call. We love that weāve been able to bring this to life for them and dive down the D & D/YouTube rabbit hole. And love that theyāre being recognized for their wacky, creative, go-make things happen energy.

We had some fun this past week. Our agency client flew in from four (!) different cities as we shot with the **SPOILER ALERT** most recent winner of Chef Gordon Ramsay's "Hell's Kitchen," Alex Belew. We made some delicious and !DIFERENTE! summer recipes that pair well with a certain hard seltzer. Stay tuned for the finished products!

Here's a šØ chicken alert šØ for your Friday! Dave Grohl once said fried chicken and champagne make a fabulous combo. Seemed like a perfect time to try it out and celebrate our intern, Carley, who just graduated from Western Kentucky University. After all, Carley is from Corbin, Ky., the birthplace of KFCās original recipe. (No one tell the Colonel that we ate Popeyeās for our experiment!)

One of the best parts of our job is meeting real-life heroes like Dr. Wes Ely from Vanderbilt Health. Not only is he a pulmonary and critical care doctor on the front lines of the pandemic, heās also been instrumental in the discovery of a treatment that has reduced COVID-19 deaths and become part of World Health Organization protocols. And somehow he still has time to run a popular TikTok channel where he shares COVID-19 news and information and stories from real-life patients heās treated. Thank you, Dr. Ely, for leading the way with compassion and determination!

The effect is real, itās growing and affecting other platforms, and brands need to have a strategy for it, like, yesterday.
The e-commerce boom + the rise of TikTok = a lot of users drawn to items featured in their favorite videos. TikTok users say ads on the platform are fun and engaging, and people can't get enough of the fit checks, unboxings, and product demos on the app. Other apps like Facebook and Instagram are going all in on video to capitalize on the user enthusiasm.

The strength in Zach Bell makes us better. Bell, a former Marine, saw more than 10 of his friends killed in Afghanistan and after they returned home.
