What a difference a year makes.

Different beaches. Same family. Just one year apart.

It’s crazy to look at these pictures side by side and realize how much can change in just 365 days—what you were chasing, what you were worried about, who you were with, and what you thought mattered.

And then you look at your kids.

They aren’t waiting on you to grow up 🥹🥲

While we’re working, building, planning and chasing the next goal—they’re growing up right in front of us. Another year taller. Another year older. Another year closer to building lives of their own.

That’s a reminder of something we all know—but rarely live like we know:

Life is short. Really short.

So work hard. Chase the dream. Take the risk. Build something that matters. Push yourself to see what you’re capable of.

But don’t get so busy building a life that you forget to LIVE IT.

Take the trip. Play the round. Make the memory. Laugh with your family. Put the phone down. Be present with the people you love.

Work hard. Play hard. Love hard.

Give everything you have to the life God put in front of you—and when another year passes, make sure you can look back and say:

“Man…we lived that one.”

Consistency doesn’t take a vacation.

Really proud of this girl for getting her run in and staying committed to her training—even while we’re away.

It would’ve been easy to skip it. Different schedule, different place, plenty of excuses. But she showed up anyway.

That’s what consistency actually looks like. It’s not being perfect. It’s learning to keep the promises you make to yourself, even when your routine changes.

And getting to run beside her made this one even better.
