Wow. What an incredible, unexpected honor to meet yesterday. I was playing a Gospel Brunch at the with my friend Paul Reissner on fiddle, when as soon as my set was over he came up and introduced himself. I threw my towel down and about jumped off the stage. To have a 5 time Grammy and 9 time Dove award winner sit through my entire set and then share how much it meant to him afterward has to be one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received. He and his wife, Tori are some of the nicest people. Their ministry has influenced so many in the Kingdom over the years. And of those I am one. I still can’t believe it. Russ and Tori- so great to meet y’all and I hope to see you again soon!

"Goodness Goes On and On" - when I sit down and just sing, this is one of the songs I always go back too. That's why I recorded it. I couldn't stop singing it for years after I wrote it. I had some help writing it and Verse 2 says it for me- 'when I can't see it, when I don't believe it, it doesn't mean Your arms aren't open wide." laid down some solid steel on this track on the recording, so I invited him back to throw it down on this video.

This past Saturday we had a blast hosting Krissy Nordhoff to kick off our writing day at She is the author of “Writing Worship” and founder of .co
We regularly host writing opportunities for our church worship community and it’s been such a great time getting together. We’ve shared stories and moments and written some special songs. One of the tools we use to organize our writing rooms is the songwriting personality test that Krissy developed. It’s been super helpful making sure we have a good mix of giftings in each room. I’m very thankful for all that is happening in our worship culture at New Vision! —-also we have a history of releasing original music- just look up New Vision Worship. We used an original in worship this past Sunday actually- “Trade My Heart”.

Current setup in the studio. After a week of filming some videos things have settled in here. I’m thankful for this space. I’m thankful for the songs that have been written, the stories that have been told, the notes that have been sung, the instruments that have played, the moments that have been experienced, and the future experiences that will happen as a result of what happened in here. This is a sanctuary. I call it the Threshing Floor. It’s located on Moriah street.

“Revival” Album Release Concert!!! —— What a fun night!!! - thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the release of my new full-length album “Revival”. I was honored to share this new music with my home church New Vision! I was stunned by the love and response of everyone there. The band, the choir, the production team and everyone involved I am so grateful to get to serve with you all each and every week - thanks so much for helping me celebrate this moment. I pray the title of this album - incredibly timely with the Asbury Revival - grows and continues throughout the world!!!

I am so excited to make this announcement!!! March 2nd - I’d like to invite all y’all out to my album release concert! I’m honored to be presenting this with my friends and church family at New Vision Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN.
This album has been in the works for over 2 years. It couldn’t be more timely as a renewed fervency to return to the Lord is growing all across this nation. Revival is needed, revival is happening, revival is now!!!
Come on out to our weekly Thursday evening service which begins at 6:15pm - then immediately following is the concert which will begin around 7:30pm.

“Wrapped up in Grace”
I’ll never forget writing this song. It was a moment. I had just met 3 new people who would become friends. And for a long time the song just sat there in the past, but it kept visiting me in the present. The biggest challenge of this song was trying to capture a recording that was as powerful as the moment we wrote it. I had some incredible people make it happen. Thanks to everyone who helped bring this moment to life. I hope it’s a good reminder on days you get forgetful. Thanks so much… (swipe left for credits)
