An animated short film

An animated short about pirates.

This is a stop-motion animation of a boxer knocking his punching bag off of its chain.
The gym is roughly 2'×1'. It was made with painted wood, re-purposed trash, and tape. The boxer is a 6-inch tall plastic figurine. Added sound effects at the end.

A scene that uses a paper silhouette animation style, popularized by film director Lottie Reiniger in the 1920's.
I designed 2 silhouettes per bug (with moving joints) and used white paper spikes to represent their motion. I then positioned them across a stationary background and added sound effects to finish off the video.
