Third time is the charm…hopefully. Chickens took out a round of seed after proving “deer fencing” isn’t chicken proof. Next round of fencing turned out to not be “dog proof”. Let’s see how this next round turns out…

Not sure who in the Midwest needs to hear this but L&M has amazing plants and starts right now. AMAZING. I just bought my children’s “end of the year” teacher gifts from there. Hope they all like plants 😉

SHOW US YOUR RESCUE ANIMALS!!

Our 38 year old cockatoo, Ms Pea, was rescued from Birds and Beaks Rescue and Rehab. Our 4 year old pitty mix, Norman Daniel, was rescued from a prison program locally that helps raise humane society pups into well trained doggos.

People with smokers - what do you use on the grates to make sure food doesn’t stick?! We just did trout in the smoker and the clean up was a major pain
