I redid it after installing a new sink, and being told it was a no go. Better?

That water is after checking for leaks and retightening/readjusting. My family friend wasn’t around to show him the updates. Thanks for any input.

Was my kitchen sink plumbing done correctly?

I had my kitchen renovated where we moved the sink. This is the plumbing under the sink with a garbage disposal where the sink drains and the dishwasher on the left of the sink. It has been working ok for a few months, but I am now having a draining issue from my bathroom sink and shower behind the kitchen. The shower was not draining and I tried turning on the garbage disposal which actually got the shower to drain. Any advice is appreciated!

My sink isn't draining properly - does this setup look right?
I've recently had a new kitchen fitted, complete with dishwasher, washing machine and sink. Less than 3 weeks in, the sink isn't draining properly, causing dirty water to sit in the bottom of the sink until it (very gradually) eventually drains away.

We have a dishwasher (1 above), washing machine (2 above) and sink (3 above) draining into the same waste pipe.

I'm no plumber - so I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what could be causing the sink to not drain properly? It's not blocked with food. Also, when the washing machine is on, soapy water sometimes comes up through the plug in the sink.

Something is telling me that in picture 2, the flexi hose going up may be going up too steeply.

If a photo of the drain outside is needed I can add that!

Thanks very much in advance.

My under sink plumbing looks clumsy, any ideas why it was done like this?
Of course, it doesn’t really matter what it looks like, but the untidiness bothers me. Also, if the plug is in place in the small side sink, the main sink drains poorly. The dishwasher also drains into this plumbing.

Could a basin be installed above a toilet?
It is just a random photo I found on the internet but gets the concept across. Would hopefully look a lot better if I was able to proceed.

I am well aware you can get some very limited toilets with integrated basins. So far haven't found one for under $1200 that doesn't seem large enough.

But the general idea would be a bench above toilet with a basin and tap. Cold water supplied by flushing the toilet through basin and drained down into top of the toilet. Would probably be ideal to add hot water as well from seperate piping that could be used if required but still fills the tank.

I understand maintenance would be interesting, not sure how to retain access.

I have a seperate toilet to bathroom so currently have to leave to wash hands, not ideal plus this saves water

Hot water heater. Drain it or leave it?
I have this AO Smith 50 gallon heater. 3 years old. I bought a full port drain valve on Amazon and I’m considering draining it, replacing the valve and the anode rod with a fancy electric one. No sulfur smell issues. I’ve just thought that if I’m replacing the rod I might as well spend the $100 on one that’s supposedly going to last forever. Thoughts? Do I really need to go through the trouble? Or should I just leave it alone. I don’t have any issues but my initial thought was to see if I could get more time out of the heater. Also… what’s that little white tank do?

Replace piping to external spigot
How difficult would it be for myself (not much of a plumber or diy expert) to replace the piping that goes from my basement through the external wall and up through the concrete in front of my house? It started leaking this spring but luckily I think the valve is working well enough for it to not leak a ton. My idea was to replace the entire pipe starting from the valve up (which is roughly where my hand is at in the first picture). I would guess I for sure need to drill out the concrete around the piping outside and maybe cut a bit of the wall out inside. Ive also contacted some plumbers but they may take a bit to get to us. If a bit too much for the average person to take on, how much roughly would you think it costs for a plumber to do?

Washing Machine backing up into Dishwasher Drain
(I accidentally crossposted this like 6 times somehow and I'm so so sorry mods, I was NOT trying to spam. I dont know why it posted so many times)

The photos aren't great but its the best I can manage (also I'm going to clean the drain area more thoroughly once I can get into it better)

So my partner and I bought and moved into a 80+ year old house last year. A lot of the piping in the home is original cast iron, and we're trying to save up to have it replaced, which MAY fix the issues, but I don't know enough to know for certain.

The washing machine (GE) and dishwasher (Amana) hookups definitely are not original to the home, and they're installed side by side in the kitchen (with the washer/dryer being stacked). They have seperate drains, but they both lead to the same pipe in the wall. I'm having issues sometimes, when running a load of laundry, the drained water backing up through the dishwasher drain, running down the wall, and then flooding the kitchen floor.

My dad's helped us run an auger down the line, and has tried flushing it with a water hose and bladder as well. We had to replace a section of pipe in the front yard in January, as there was Orangeburg (?) pipe that had collapsed (which was a whole thing in itself). We also tried to extend the pipe the washer drain hose goes down into to make it longer (noted poorly with the horizontal line on the sktech) in hopes it would drain slower, but I'm not sure if that's made any difference.

Maybe anecdotally, it seems to do it less if I have a really big load in the washer (my dad's theory is that there's simply too many clothes for it to drain fast enough to flood), and more often if it's rained recently or I've had the sink running to hand wash certain dishes. It hasn't backed up with just the dishwasher itself running, as far as I can tell.

Would updating the plumbing potentially fix this issue? I'm unable to pull out the washer or dishwasher myself to get better photos of the pipes right now, but I drew what I can remember of the set up on my phones notes app - sorry for the super basicness. I believe the pipes are about 1.75" in diameter, at least part of the way. Past the bend I dont know what the pipes look like because they go under the floor and that section of the crawlspace is currently inaccessible.

I feel this should be easier than I’m making it.
The L under sink pipe connection in my kitchen sink has disconnected and I cannot for the life of me get it to screw back together, it just keeps falling back out and the threads done connect to secure it together. I tried buying another gasket and the screw piece but still can’t get it.
