On Wednesdays we train!! 💪🏼 As professional dancers and as a new dance couple it is super important to train. To be challenged and to figure stuff out together!!! Karel Flores Moment 007 This is something I learned along the way… what are your thoughts on it?? Sometimes as teachers we make the mistake of thinking we can’t celebrate our students for fear of them loosing the ground. But instead of being concerned with whether or not our students will stay humble, we should make sure we are teaching them proper values. Values of respect, hard-work, healthy competition, solidarity. This will give room to celebrate them while they’ll still understand that it requires way more than talent, and way more than a few good shows or wins to really make it. At the end of the day, I believe the world would be a better place if people were celebrated rather than pushed down. A world where people can feel like they are good enough, while simultaneously being realistic and pragmatic about how much better one can always be! Today and always, love yourself, celebrate your wins and take your space… you’ve earned it!
