☁️Should we only wait for God to appear on the clouds or is there another way in which the Lord will return?
✨The Lord said that he will come again, that he goes to prepare a place for you, and where I am, there you may be also. So how do you think the Lord will come in the last days? 🙏Many people think that the way the Lord will come again should be descending on the clouds, visible to all. Because the Bible does say, Behold, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, amen. This is in Revelation 1 verse 7. So it seems to mean that everyone can see the Lord coming again, right? However, could there be more to his coming than meets the eye? Because there are many other descriptions in the Bible too. The Lord said that he will come like a thief, and no one knows, not even the angels here in heaven, nor the sun knows, only the Father. Revelation also says, Behold, I come as a thief. Now if he comes with the clouds and everyone can see him, then how can he come quietly like a thief? There are also other scriptures pertaining to the Lord's second coming that mention, For as the Lord said, That lightens out of one part under heaven, shine to the other part under heaven, so shall also the Son of Man be in his day. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation. So since he's descending on the clouds and is appearing to all in his glory, why and how must he suffer many things and be rejected by this generation? The Bible also says about the bridegroom's return, that both the wise and the foolish virgins fall asleep, waiting his return, because the bridegroom has been delayed. It says, But at midnight there was a cry, Here is the bridegroom, come out to meet him. Now Revelation, the last book of the Bible, the prophetic book specifically pertaining to the last days, it says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear my voice and open the door, I'll come into him, and I'll sup with him, and he with me. And he that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit say unto the churches. So is he going to say more words in the last days? It said seven times in total, seven being the number of completion or fulfillment or perfection. So why are we repeatedly told to listen to his voice in the last days? Now if he's coming on the clouds and can be seen by all eyes, why does someone need to make a shout or a cry and notify others of his return? And why do the virgins need to go out to meet him? And why does it tell us that if we hear his voice, we need to open the door? And why in the last days do we need to listen and have ears to hear what he's saying? Now if all eyes will see, won't we just use our eyes, not our ears? There are many other scriptures in the Bible about the Lord's return, which seem to be different or perhaps even contradictory. Actually, there's no contradiction. But family, there's a mystery here. Now does God work according to man's interpretations of scriptures or according to his arrangements and what's best for corruption? mankind. So let's think, was the first coming of Christ in accordance with the religious world's interpretation and understanding of scripture 2,000 years ago? Yes or no? Will Christ's second coming be as the religious world expects today, that they're so confident in? Or do we need to humble ourselves, come before God with the true seeking heart of a child and to be led into all truth and into his kingdom? How do you understand it? How will all of these scriptures be fulfilled? Does the Lord's return contain a deeper meaning than we've ever thought or ever been taught?
