Cloud4Wi was founded by Andrea Calcagno, current CEO & Chairman, and Davide Quadrini, current CTO and Board Member, in February 2014 with a group of key people that are part of the current team.
First headquartered in Pisa, Italy, the company moved its corporate offices to San Francisco in 2014, after the Series A financing round from United Ventures.
In October 2017, the company closed a $11.5 million Series B financing round, bringing the total investment in the company to $15.5 million. The round was co-led by Opus Capital and United Ventures.
In September 2019, the company moved its corporate office to New York City to boost the growth in the USA. San Francisco still remains a crucial office to build long-term partnerships with the technology vendors based in the Silicon Valley.
