🌸 Meet Your Neighbor: Callie Threadgill of The Flower Guild! 🌸

What started as a leap from the corporate world has blossomed into something beautiful right here in the M Streets! Neighbor Callie Threadgill is celebrating the first anniversary of The Flower Guild, her floral design business rooted in creativity, community and thoughtfully sourced blooms.

From custom seasonal arrangements and intimate events to the Bespoke Bouquet Bar, floral workshops and memorable experiences like Petal Parties, Callie’s goal is to make flowers feel personal, approachable and a little whimsical. 💐

She’s also passionate about supporting local. Through a partnership with KindGrow Farms, The Flower Guild incorporates locally grown flowers whenever possible—helping provide fresher, longer-lasting blooms while supporting a fellow small business.

And with fall here, The Flower Guild can even transform your front porch with custom pumpkin displays featuring heirloom pumpkins, seasonal mums and beautifully layered textures. 🎃🍂

Callie says one of her favorite things about the M Streets is the neighborhood itself—from the tree-lined streets and historic homes to the gardens, front porches and neighbors who make it feel like home.

🐾 Meet Beans, the Prince of the M Streets! 👑

This month’s Precious Pets feature introduces us to Beans, a lovable Golden Retriever with plenty of personality! Beans was adopted at just four months old and quickly settled into his role as the “prince” of the household. 💛

When he’s not soaking up attention, Beans loves chasing squirrels in the backyard, playing with his dog toys, hanging out with his 9-month-old pup companion, and keeping tabs on Mom and Dad wherever they go. And when they disappear upstairs? He’ll happily search every nook and cranny downstairs trying to find them! 😂

From his playful puppy days to becoming an important part of the family, Beans has certainly earned his royal title. 👑🐶

⛳ Tee Up for an Afternoon of Fun & Connection!

The inaugural East Dallas Chamber Classic is coming to Topgolf on Thursday, October 8! Hosted by the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce, this new community event is a chance to mix, mingle and enjoy a little friendly competition with fellow East Dallas neighbors and local professionals.

Tournament play kicks off at 2 PM, with teams of six taking on a bay-style golf experience featuring food, live golf tips and an awards ceremony. And you definitely don’t have to be a golf pro to join the fun! 🙌

Not interested in swinging a club? Grab a spectator pass and come enjoy the food, cheer on the teams and connect with others in the community. Non-Chamber members are welcome, too!
