✨ Community Connections ✨

Neighbors in Action: Volunteering for a Brighter School Year! 🎒💙 The 29th Annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair at Fair Park was filled with backpacks, bright smiles, and community spirit.

Thanks to the Junior League of Dallas and 500+ volunteers — including many from the M Streets — over 10,000 students walked away with supplies, health checkups, and confidence for the year ahead. Dallas truly knows how to show up for its kids!

🐾 Pets of the M Streets 🐾

Meet Tex—a snow-white rescue pup who found his forever home after being saved from Houston during Hurricane Harvey. Originally named “Houston,” his family quickly renamed him “Tex” to show their Dallas pride.

Tex is the lovable introvert of the household. He enjoys belly rubs, squeaky toys, and quiet time tucked away in a bedroom. In the summer, you’ll find him boating at the family’s Michigan lake house—never missing a ride! Spoiled and adored, Tex’s family says he may not bark orders, but he definitely runs the house. 🐶💙

🐾 Meet Zero, the ultimate social butterfly of M Streets! 🐾

Adopted from PAWS Chicago, this spotted pup was renamed after the ghostly dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas—a perfect fit for his playful, life-of-the-party personality. Unlike his quiet brother Tex, Zero is always in the middle of the action, whether it’s movie night, entertaining guests, or tagging along from room to room.

His favorites? Boat rides at the family lake house 🚤, his deer antler toy from Grandpa 🦌, and of course, being spoiled with love. Zero’s family says their pups set the pace for their lives—and they wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
