Guests will enjoy a four-course dinner, beginning with Cajun-inspired hors d’oeuvres followed by three seated courses with wine pairings for $150 (inclusive of tax and gratuity). Travel back to the 1940s — when mobile phones were restricted to Dick Tracy comics, and when America’s baby boom birthed one of New Orleanians’ most beloved icons, Mr. Bingle. The nation was changing quickly during those post-war years, but through it all, one local tradition remained constant: the reveillon dinner.

About US

You know you are New Orleans Local if you know what I mean when I say ‘we’re makin’ groceries or I ask how’s your mam-ane’m’, and that’s who Brett and Cheryl Bauman and WVUE FOX8 are. New Orleans is a city that you just can’t help but fall in love with; from its history and culture, to its fine cuisine that can only be described as uniquely Nawlins. We wanted to give us Locals a single resource guide that describes all of the fascinating things that our city has to offer to us every day and we have done it through the creation of NewOrleansLocal.com.

NewOrleansLocal.com is a website that is designed on three words: Simple, Complete, and Local.

New Orleanians have no single source to go to, to find out what is happening around in the city. Normally, we just ask our friends where they are going or try to sift through the endless internet. We have solved this problem with a simple-to-use Calendar. The calendar is arranged by events that are organized by date into categories such as Music, Food, and Festivals. So, if you want to know what is happening this weekend in the music world, you can select the music category on the calendar and find out who is playing where in the city.
