Mark J. Tager, MD, is a well-recognized consultant and trainer in the fields of aesthetics, natural products, regenerative medicine, and laboratory sciences.
Dr. Tager has served as the founding Vice President of Marketing for Reliant Technologies (NASDAQ: SLTM), where he launched the Fraxel® laser and introduced the science of fractional skin rejuvenation to healthcare practitioners around the world. Dr. Tager then served as Chief Marketing Officer for Syneron. At Syneron, he was responsible for corporate positioning, public and luminary relations, and new product launches including the very successful introduction of the VelaShape™.
He is well known for his presentations on new approaches to skin and body rejuvenation and has spoken extensively in the United States, Europe and Asia He directs the Practice Management program for Miami Cosmetic Surgery.
Along with Robert Hughes, Dr. Tager trains health and wellness professionals to become irresistibly powerful communicators both in person and on camera.
Dr. Tager is the author of ten books on health promotion, aesthetics, leadership, stress and change management. This talk will be based upon his book with Robert John Hughes, Enhance Your Presence: The Path to Personal Power, Professional Influence & Business Results. Other notable books include: Cash-Pay Healthcare: How to Start, Grow & Perfect Your Business (with Stewart Gandolf). A pioneer in aesthetic practice promotion, along with Stephen Mulholland, MD, he co-authored The Art of Aesthetic Practice. Dr. Tager received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Duke University and trained in Family Practice at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. He lives outside of San Diego with his wife Carol and Sienna, the world’s cutest maltipoo.
