What is a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory?A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory (PBWA) is issued when localized water pressure drops below 20 psi. This typically occurs due to a line break or when a section of the main water line is isolated—or “valved off”—to allow for repairs.

Emile was the son of the late Louis and Edna Dembrun; brother of the late Louis, Joseph and Dorothy. He was a great, loving, caring and devoted husband to his wife Cookie for 70 years. He is the father of Larry (the late Mickie), Ricky (Karen), Cindy (Jay), and the late Emile Norbert Dembrun Jr....

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office is warning residents to be cautious online after a victim recently encountered a fraudulent website made to look like Amazon, Sheriff James Pohlmann said. According to reports, the victim believed he was on Amazon’s legitimate site when scammers instructed him that he owed money and needed to pay it immediately. During the encounter, the victim received a phone call from another individual using a spoofed Sheriff’s Office phone number that appeared as (504) 271-2501....
