GREAT ESCAPES is underway!
This History Channel series shooting in Natchez, MS, will feature stories of legendary jailbreaks, and will require actors to play real-life historical characters. All roles are silent on camera, so Morgan Casting is seeking talented performers who can bring these roles to life through convincing action! They would love to cast as closely as possible in look, height, and eye color; however, please do not limit your suggestion based on eye color, and feel free to go up or down a few inches with height.
NOTE: COVID testing will be required of all performers and covered by production. All talent must be non-union.
CURRENTLY SEEKING for “BRUSHY MOUNTAIN”
[JAMES EARL RAY] Male. Age 49. White. Dark hair. Blue eyes (do not limit). 170 lbs. Gained notoriety as the assassin of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and further fame as a repeat prison escapee. $200/day.
[JERRY RAY] Male. White. Age 43. Younger brother of James. Pic attached was taken in 1978 so only a year off from the escape. $200/day.
[DOUG SHELTON] Male. Age 33. White. Attractive types. In his reference photo he looks to have nice features. A bit chiseled. Brown hair. $200/day.
[EARL HILL] Male. White. Age 35. Fair skin, blue eyes. $200/day

[TIMOTHY MORGAN] Male. 25 years. White. 184 lbs. Hazel eyes. Short brown hair. Has a light goatee and mustache (can be added or grown in 2 weeks prior to shoot). $200/day.
[GARY SILVERS] Male. 50 years. White. Around 6’2” and thin. Brown shorter hair, just starting to gray a little. $200/day.
GENERAL EXTRAS needed for this episode: Males and females, 25-59 years, all ethnicities. Playing guards, prisoners, townspeople, etc. $100/day, for up to 12 hours. All extras must work as local hire to Natchez, MS.
For the above roles with names, Production is open to providing housing for “Principal" & "Day Player" roles only if one lives a reasonably far drive outside of Natchez.
For all roles posted, one must be available to shoot during the week of May 17-21. Exact dates TBD at this time.
