Robin Brou's company Marillyn In The Moon takes local fabric design far away from "snoballs, crawfish and cutsie" and makes it into beautiful records of culture and history - from stripes that are streetcar tracks to what look like random squiggles that turn out to be hurricane tracks, complete with labels like "Camille" and "Katrina." You can buy these and other unique, quality fabrics at Chateau Sew & Sew where owner Laura Fenner also teaches sewing. Meet Robin and Laura on Out to Lunch, on your podcast app, on New Orleans Public Radio 89.9FM and https://itsneworleans.com/2025/07/20/stitches/
