Yesterday the Haynes Academy swim team dominated at their meet at the JCC uptown against five other local schools. Their combined team score was 917 with the second place school scoring only 473. I love capturing humans working hard at their craft.

I went down to in the hours before the tropical storm to see how the wildlife was preparing. A strong breeze was blowing in and the waves were starting to gain force, but these animals remained calm. Luckily the storm was a nonevent for us.

If you haven’t been down to walk along the lake in a while I encourage you to check out the growth of the . It’s a beautiful place to visit and forget you live in a city.
