For a long time, I thought the advantage in life was being able to see down the road.
Plan ahead.
Think a few steps ahead of everyone else.
But this generation has had to develop something different entirely.
Theyâve had to learn how to see down the road AND around the corner because life hasnât been giving them much warning.
Things have been coming at them fast, and waiting to have all the answers wasnât an option. Theyâve had to learn how to adapt, pivot, and keep moving without losing themselves in the process.
I see it up close through my own daughters. And honestly, it blows me away.
This generation hasnât had it easy. The anxiety is real. The overwhelm is real. But so is the resilience. The ones who have learned to feel all of that and still keep looking forward, who have figured out how to move with intention even when the path isnât clear, they are going to be just fine.
More than fine.
Thatâs what Strategic Joy looks like in real life. Not the absence of hard things, but the ability to keep growing through them anyway.
I couldnât be more proud of what Iâm watching them become.
