Acrylic and oil on canvas mounted to di-bond panels (3 tiers)
96” x 112”

The pieces I have been working on for the first half of this year have been in preparation for my fall solo show at the

I’ve included images of the process of layering the panels of this piece (I’ve used the same methods for the other works in this series for this show too)

It’s been a long process and journey with this work. The scale ( this is 8 foot tall and 10 feet wide) and complexity of constructing them ( this piece has 5 sections and 3 distinct tiered layers) has definitely pushed my thinking and skills. I am really looking forward to them going out into the world to be seen.

Professional pics being done soon and again once installed at the museum 💫

Until those glamour shots- here are my cell phone best attempts 😆

I’ve been asked to share more context of what’s been happening in the studio lately. Apparently my snippets and close ups have been a little confusing and hard to understand how the part relates to the whole. So here ya go! I’ve been keeping a lid on my new works but here is a view of one of the works in process.

It’s been a journey for me in the studio this year preparing for an upcoming fall exhibition. Sometimes we are forced to trust the process and lean into our intuition. Best laid plans don’t always materialize into finished works, but instead confirm other truths and open new doors.

This piece is in process. The composition and collage pieces have materialized. Next up- mounting and finishing the painting in oils 💫

My process reflects the ideas of uncertainty and pivoting to meet challenges. It questions perceptions and truths. Things are built and torn apart and reconfigured to find new solutions.

My upcoming solo show “Rupture and Bloom” will be this coming fall.

A glimpse into the work I am doing for my upcoming fall solo show RUPTURE AND BLOOM

The works I am creating for this exhibition are all very large scale ultimately culminating in an immersive environment. I have been pushing myself into new realms and dimensions within this series and can’t wait to share more of my journey in the coming months!

This is a detail view of a multi layered/multi panel piece. Oil on canvas and dibond panel- 82” x 94” x 4”

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all of my long time followers and thank you to the many new people that have found my work in this crazy space we all love to hate 😆
We all know how the algorithms have changed and it’s harder to be “seen” in this enigmatic space. But- I still find value in sharing and connecting, and discovering people and work that inspires me. And to feed this beast- here’s a snapshot of me in the stairwell of my beloved studio building.
I live and work in New Orleans. It’s complicated, ugly and beautiful and magical, and a bubble that enables me to do the work I’m meant to do.
The rest of the images that follow are just a snapshot of my life here. So if you’ve been here for awhile and I repeat some pics sorry (not sorry 😂) and if you have started following recently I hope this says alittle bit about me (but not to much)

We’ve all had them. The memories and experiences that shift our path and engulf us. They are markers of our journey. Embrace them.

Really love these installation shots for my show titled Crescendo It can be difficult to understand the scale of works when we see them on our screens. I think these shots really help the viewer get a sense of them. The exhibition is online (link in bio) and we’ll be adding a couple of these new works to the mix soon.

“Conceptually tension unites the works in Off-Kilter. Be it growing old, natural disaster, or simply the choice to move away from the art historical canon” says Anna Mikaela Ekstrand in her review of this great show I’m proud to be a part of alongside artists and - curated by

The show runs through the end of February. If you are in NYC go check it out.

I have to say- there is something happening over there on Bluesky

Who else is gonna join and hop over?
Will this new space support creative voices better? Do we have a chance for a redo that better suited for artists? IDK but I’m willing to find out
