At 6 months old you are definitely old enough to earn your keep so I grabbed Nic a uniform so he could join Dad at work. J/K
After being an AMAZING girl Dad for 13 years it is so sweet watching Ike and his mini together. I have had the pleasure of having our two girls who watch my every move and now it’s Ike’s turn to have a shadow and Nic is most definitely stepping up to the plate. These two are besties already; even the daycare ladies say he is the sweetest Daddy that loves telling one more cute story before drop off each morning. Our little caboose has all of our hearts and we are so happy to have this little blessing in our lives.

My sweet girl performed in her second dance recital yesterday. We went from half a season of hip hop last year to a full season in hip hop, ballet and contemporary while doing gymnastics. She looked so beautiful and had a blast, although the quick costume changes nearly gave her a panic attack.
I am so proud of her and can’t wait to see what next season holds.
Huge shout out to for the beautiful makeup. She was smiling extra bright because of it!!!

I don’t usually give this much creative control but I let her go all in and she did not disappoint. I received so many compliments on this look and literally didn’t want to wash my face at the end of the night. Thanks for the transformation . Book now if you have an event or wedding coming up.

This year is giving me all the feels. It was this exact Mardi Gras Wednesday after prepping my house, going to my last prenatal appointment and eating a Valentine’s Dinner at Dragos I started having contractions at about 4 am. I remember downloading two different apps to count my contractions and letting Ike get fully dressed for work at 8 am before telling him I was in labor. i was in denial that my baby girl was coming on her due date. Who the heck goes into labor ON their due date? Skyler was arriving promptly for her birthday and she hasn’t been late for anything since she was born. She has shown us from the beginning who she is and what she wants and needs in life. Skyler you are unapologetically you and you are absolute MAGIC. You have made me a better person and challenged me in ways I never imagined. I am so grateful to be your Mom and I cannot wait to see how you change the world. Happy 11th Birthday Skyler Annalise! This year will be great.

Happy 40th Birthday to the life of the party, the calm to my chaos and my ultimate right hand man! Time truly flies when you’re having fun and you never waste one moment finding fun. I sometimes look at you and wonder how you find the strength to be so full of life and optimism when life is tough. It sometimes drives me crazy when you are calm when I’m not; but then I remember you are the ying to my yang and the peanut butter to my jelly, I am incomplete without my other half. I am so proud and grateful for the man that you are. Your presence brings me peace and comfort when I need it. Watching parts of you manifest in our daughters is so beautiful knowing you are only spreading your light on the world through them each and every day. I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you. I love you and thank you for being you! Happy 40th Birthday my love! 😘😘😘

Living in chaos can make you lose perspective of the good in your life when you’re blinded by all the things that are going wrong. It can be so hard to step back and ground yourself, look around and sort through the madness. I’ve been trying my best to focus on the positive and put my energy in what I can control. This week I’m so happy to have extra time to spend with family and immerse myself in joy.

Year 13 may have been our toughest battle yet. For over 12 months we have been in the trenches. Fighting battle after battle, fighting for our sanity and a sense of normalcy. Each day you got up, you smiled, you told me I was beautiful and you attempted to pick up all of my broken pieces. In 12 months I’ve probably cooked 20 meals, I tried to avoid socializing, I hated making decisions, I wasn’t myself and you never cared, you never made me feel guilty, you continued to love me each and every day. No matter how much I avoided saying I need help or pushed you away or complained you continued to show up for me and I couldn’t be more grateful for you. At 22 some people thought I was crazy but I am so glad that I was able to make the best decision of my life by choosing to spend my life with you. I love you, I thank you and I appreciate every moment I have with you; you are everything I never knew I needed. Cheers to us, cheers to you for being our glue. Happy 14th Anniversary Mr. Taylor.
