The Metropolitan Crime Commission shows that violent crime is down compared to last year.
The City leaders announced crime is down across the board here in New Orleans. Violent crime across the city including murders, non-fatal shootings and armed robbery.
? Are they saying the new Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick has done a faster and better job than both local Police Chiefs Shaun Ferguson and Michelle Woodfork both put together.
ONE THING I WILL NOT DO IS MISLEAD THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Carjacking was terrorizing all neighborhoods that were creating this general sense of lawlessness, and for reasons, first and foremost, of ethics, it was morally unacceptable to see so many of our youth perishing. It was not the kind of city that we wanted to live in but also for reasons of economics,
We can not police our way out of everything. We basically need community support with these efforts.
We need the community to step up and help the efforts of preventing crimes. We are doing a great job, but we have to do better as citizens as well.
