This was our first visit to The Husky in New Orleans. It has a retro speakeasy vibe with an eclectic menu, extensive whisky selection, and creative craft cocktails. We’ll definitely be back!

The drinks and trivia had a higher midichorian count than the peanut butter and jelly burger at Loft 18’s Star Wars trivia night. Don’t get me wrong, the atmosphere, trivia, and crowd were fantastic! We had a great time and will definitely be back.

80/20 Burgers in Metairie on Airline & Labarre. I finally made it out here to try the Route 66 burger with griddled onions. It’s a very well seasoned, flavorful smash burger with a great 80/20 sauce and a super soft brioche bun. It’s one of the best smashburger places that I’ve tried so far.

Another visit to 504 Shawarma and Falafel in Metairie at West Esplanade and Transcontinental. I got the crunchy falafel crunch wrap. They have an amazing array of sauces and enhancements in their topping bar. We also had the grilled shawarma wrap and fried halloumi cheese. It’s so good dipped in their hummus! .falafel
