What will happen to these little rocks and the plastic beneath when we get 10 inches of rain in six hours? Maybe whoever engineered this storm water work in NSB can chime in with a study or other evidence that this will work. These photos were taken between Colony Park and Otter Blvd. An alternative approach could have been to create a living shoreline punctuated by boulders arrayed crisscross where the topography naturally steers the water into the ditch. Work with nature instead of against it.
