"Only one boy asked me to prom because no one else wanted to be seen with me because of the birthmark on my face… 💔👇

For years, my classmates mocked the way I looked.

They laughed at my clothes.

They laughed at my family.

And they laughed at my birthmark.

So when Caleb—the most popular boy in school—asked me to prom, I thought it had to be a joke.

But it wasn’t.

He held my hand. Danced with me. Treated me with kindness all night.

Then the crowd started laughing.

“Did Caleb decide to do charity work tonight?” someone shouted.

Humiliated, I burst into tears and told him I wanted to leave.

He immediately took my hand and led me toward the exit.

Seven years ago, my daughter Nora lost her sight in a terrible car accident.

Since then, Nora’s guide dog, Scout, became her constant companion.

So when graduation day arrived, Scout proudly walked beside her as she received her diploma.

Everything was perfect.

Until Scout suddenly bolted.

Without warning, he broke free and sprinted across the parking lot.

I had never seen him act like that before.

Ignoring every command, he ran behind the school, barking furiously.

I chased after him.

When I finally caught up, Scout was standing in front of a man, refusing to back down.

The man looked nervous.

He kept trying to get away.

“Quiet! Quiet!” he shouted.

I grabbed Scout’s leash and looked up to apologize.

Then I saw the man’s face.

The moment I recognized him, my hands started shaking.

"The whole school laughed when I showed up to prom wearing a dress with my boyfriend… 😳👇

By senior year, everyone knew I was gay.

Some people supported me.

Others spent years making sure I never forgot I was different.

So when prom arrived, my boyfriend wore a tuxedo.

And I wore a dress.

Not for attention. Not as a joke.

Just because I was tired of living by everyone else’s rules.

The moment we walked into the ballroom, the laughter started.

People pointed. Whispered. Pulled out their phones.

Then a group of football players approached us.

The same ones who had bullied others for years.

Their comments grew louder.

Crueler.

Soon, students formed a circle around us.

Phones were recording.

Everyone expected a fight.

Then suddenly the speakers crackled.

“Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention.”

The principal had stepped onto the stage.

My grandmother had dreamed of attending her 50-year reunion for years.

But she passed away just eleven days before the event. 💔

Before she died, she made one final request:

“If I can’t go… wear my blue dress and go for me.”

So I did.

The moment I walked into the reunion hall, people began whispering her name.

Then an elderly man suddenly stood up, dropped his cane, and hurried toward me.

His hands trembled as he took mine.

“Finally,” he whispered. “You came.”

I gently explained that I wasn’t my grandmother.

I was her granddaughter.

His face went pale.

Then he said something so strange that I thought I had misheard him.

“Your grandmother promised you would marry me.” 😳

Before I could respond, he slipped a tiny silver thimble into my hand.

Then he quietly said:

“Check the dress. You need to know the truth.”

Confused and shaken, I rushed to the restroom and turned the dress inside out.

Hidden inside the stitching was a folded note.

The moment I read the first line, my knees gave out.

My sister Claire never liked my fiancé, Ryan.
