In 1964, Alfred Geller began to work in the television news and information industry. By 1969, he decided to devote all of his energies to television news and information. He dissolved his successful law partnership, Geller, Gold, Cuddy and Youngquist to concentrate on the field that he loved so much. Since that time, Geller Media Management, Inc. (GMM) has been exclusively representing television news on-air, production, and management clients, along with packaging. Mr. Geller is its Chairman of the Board and CEO. GMM has a robust and extremely high quality client list. It is one of the few major companies working exclusively in the field of television news representation. As an active adjunct to the services offered by GMM, the company represents its clients in the radio and literary fields as well. Clients of GMM are anchors, hosts, general assignment reporters, investigative reporters, sports, weather, consumer medical, and entertainment reporters as well as producers, production and packaging companies and members of management. GMM has distinguished itself from other companies in the field by offering to its clients a full range of career development and guidance assistance, including considerable attention to the growth and quality of their on-air skills, writing, reporting and producing. A full television studio in the New York office is extremely helpful in achieving the latter goals and to the same affect, the company maintains full editing facilities staffed by highly qualified professionals. In addition to the main office in New York City, a financial office in Garrison New York, GMM has two additional offices in Dallas and Stamford, CT.

Mission: Perhaps the most unusual feature of GMM that distinguishes us from others in the field is the individual creative attention that we give to our clients. It is unknown and unprecedented. Our principal mission is first and foremost to help our clients realize their fullest potential, to be the best that they can be. We conduct a number of two day sessions each year attended by all new clients. The results are extraordinary, the response to them is heart warming. It helps make our long hours and hard work worthwhile. To know that we are appreciated is gratifying, to say the least. The first two day session lays the ground for all future work. Our goal is to give each new client an intense and panoramic view of the business in terms of all of the basic elements, concentrating mostly on the on air skills; on understanding all that is necessary to get the most out of ones strengths; the importance of being the best that you can be; setting the highest standards of excellence and achievement; increasing internal political awareness; the need to work hard i.e. work ethic in so many areas; understanding what it means to win; to be part of the team, part of the solution not part of the problem. In addition to the two day session, we conduct one day group review seminars across the country to review and reinvigorate and re-inspire existing clients. The response to these sessions is also extraordinary. However the principle part of the creative and career services that we offer is our extensive program of one-on-one sessions conducted either on the telephone, in most instances dozens of times per year, and face to face meetings wherever practical either at one of our offices or at the clients location. Management is well aware and in general knows that GMM clients are selected with extreme care. They are chosen by GMM after turning away 99% of those who request representation. Management knows that our clients are extremely well-trained, hard working and giving employees and people who give back to the community in many ways. They are all part of a very select and proud family. All clients benefit from the family reputation and the long-standing reputation of this company.
