I Ascend Magazine is honored to have Mighty Mike C, for the July 2024 Issue.

The Mighty Mike C is an Author, Podcast Host, and Member of The Fearless 4, the very first Hip Hop Group to sign to a major label. The Fearless Four is an American old-school hip-hop group from Harlem, New York that emerged in the early 1980s. Comprised of members DLB, Peso, Tito, and Mike C, they are known for their high-energy performances, clever lyrics, and innovative beats. Their record, "Rockin It," is considered a classic in the early years of hip-hop and is credited with helping to shape the sound of the genre. The Fearless Four quickly gained recognition for their unique style and charismatic stage presence. They were known for their intricate rhyme schemes, inventive wordplay, and catchy hooks. Their music was a fusion of funk, disco, and hip-hop, which helped to set them apart from other groups at the time.

"Rockin It" was released in 1982 and became an instant hit. The song's infectious beat and catchy lyrics captured the spirit of the burgeoning hip-hop scene in New York City. It quickly became an anthem for the city's youth, who were drawn to The Fearless Four's raw energy and bold attitude. The group's success with "Rockin It" led to a record deal with Elektra Records, where they released their debut album, "Fearless Four," in 1983. The album received critical acclaim, and the group gained a loyal following. Their live performances became legendary, with fans flocking to see them perform at venues across the city. So can I talk about Saturday's "Boss Ladies" Business Mixer. We had a small group of women that came out and it was a delight to meet them, laugh, and share. I also saw a Dynamic woman of God that I adore. To hear her share a little bit about me (I had no idea she was going to do that) when she spoke she shared that I have impacted her with some firsts in her life. It was humbling because I never quite saw it like that or even thought of it. She is a Phenomenal Woman who is a Powerful Apostle-Prophetess, Author, Playwright, and so on. I sat yesterday reflecting on having been that in some way to so many by way of a Magazine Cover, Article, Putting people on Televised Podcasts and Conference Platforms, and Helping people become Authors, to name a few things I do.

I didn't just arrive. People who meet you think you just got started yesterday. No, I've been here for decades, working and plowing the fields God has given me. I have moments where the curtains pull back, and I'm on the stage, and then I politely exit and place others on that Platform. I thank God for the time these few ladies spent with me, and I hope to see them again in the near future, partnering and collaborating. I appreciated the moment to ponder as it is always a sign of what's ahead in this new venture I'm embarking on, and I expect nothing less than a Great Impact!!!

To God Be The Glory As He Continues To Unfold My Story. 🙏
