THOUSANDS FILL LONDON STREETS AS CROWDS PROCLAIM “CHRIST IS KING”

Thousands of people gathered in central London, where large wooden crosses, Christian symbols, and British flags could be seen throughout the crowds.

Among those gathered, voices could be heard declaring:

“CHRIST IS KING!”

The demonstration was connected to a broader political rally where issues including immigration, Islam, national identity, and Britain's future were part of the wider discussion.

But for Christians, the words “Christ Is King” carry a meaning that extends far beyond politics.

Jesus Christ does not belong to a political party.

He is not the property of the left or the right.

Christianity teaches that His authority stands above presidents, prime ministers, governments, nations, and every earthly power.

The Cross also represents far more than a political or cultural symbol.

For Christians, it represents Jesus Christ giving His life for humanity, bearing our sins, and rising again so that those who believe in Him may receive forgiveness and eternal life.

Whatever someone's opinion of the politics surrounding the gathering, the sight of people openly carrying crosses and proclaiming the name of Jesus in the streets of London attracted significant attention.

Philippians 2:10–11

“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.”

Christians do not believe Jesus becomes King because a crowd declares Him to be.

We proclaim it because we believe He already is.

JESUS CHRIST IS KING.

DO PUBLIC OFFICIALS NEED TO SWEAR THEIR OATH ON A BIBLE?

For generations, photographs of American presidents and other public officials taking the oath of office with a hand on a Bible have become a familiar part of American political tradition.

For many Christians, the Bible carries profound significance, and choosing to use it during an oath can represent a public acknowledgment of faith, truth, accountability, and responsibility before God.

But there is an important constitutional distinction between tradition and requirement.

The U.S. Constitution does not require elected officials to swear their oath on a Bible.

Article VI specifically prohibits religious tests for federal public office. The Constitution also allows officials to take either an oath or an affirmation.

Throughout American history, officials have therefore taken their oaths in different ways. Some have used Bibles or other religious texts, while others have used no religious book at all.

The fundamental legal commitment is not to the book beneath someone's hand.

It is to the Constitution and the duties of the office.

Americans are certainly free to consider a candidate's values, integrity, worldview, and religious beliefs when deciding whom they trust with political power.

But choosing not to use a Bible does not, by itself, establish that someone's loyalty to the United States is questionable.

For Christians, the Bible itself also places enormous importance on honesty and keeping one's word.

Matthew 5:37 says:

“Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’”

A Bible can make an oath deeply meaningful to the person taking it.

But ultimately, integrity is demonstrated by whether that person keeps the promise they made.

KENTUCKY MOTHER AND DAUGHTER TURN DOWN MORE THAN $26 MILLION TO PROTECT FAMILY FARMLAND

For Ida Huddleston and her daughter Delsia Bare, generations of family farmland were worth more than a multimillion-dollar payday.

The Kentucky mother and daughter reportedly rejected offers totaling more than $26 million for hundreds of acres of agricultural land in Mason County.

Developers were seeking property in the area for a large data center project.

For many families, an offer of that size would be almost impossible to refuse.

But Huddleston and Bare said their concerns extended beyond money.

They wanted to preserve their family's agricultural heritage and raised questions about how large-scale data center development could affect farmland, electricity demand, water resources, and the surrounding rural community.

Their decision comes as America's rapid expansion of artificial intelligence and cloud computing creates enormous demand for new data centers.

Those facilities can bring major investment and economic development to communities, but their substantial land, electricity, and water requirements have also generated opposition in some rural areas.

For this Kentucky family, the choice ultimately came down to what they valued most.

More than $26 million was on the table.

They chose the land.

Their decision raises an extraordinary question:

If your family farm had been passed down through generations, would $26 million be enough for you to sell it?

IRAN ACCUSES TRUMP, FAMILY MEMBERS AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS OF MARKET MANIPULATION

Iran has accused President Donald Trump, members of his family, and officials in his administration of market manipulation and has called on the U.S. Congress to investigate the allegations.

The accusation adds a financial dimension to the already deeply strained relationship between Washington and Tehran, which has been shaped by disputes involving sanctions, military actions, oil markets, and regional security.

Iranian officials allege that political statements and government actions influenced financial markets in ways that may have benefited individuals close to the administration.

However, an important distinction remains:

These are allegations.

Iran's accusation alone does not establish that Trump, his family members, or administration officials engaged in market manipulation or violated U.S. law.

If Congress were to launch an investigation, lawmakers could potentially examine relevant financial transactions, the timing of public statements and market movements, possible conflicts of interest, and whether anyone improperly benefited from nonpublic government information.

Trump's supporters may view the allegations skeptically given the adversarial relationship between the Iranian and U.S. governments.

Critics may argue that credible evidence of potential market manipulation or conflicts of interest involving government officials warrants independent scrutiny regardless of who makes the initial accusation.

For now, the central question is whether Iran produces evidence substantial enough to prompt action in Washington.

An allegation is not proof.

But should Congress investigate to determine whether there is any truth behind it?

18-YEAR-OLD WALKED NEARLY 7 MILES TO WORK — THEN HIS COMMUNITY CHANGED HIS LIFE

In 2020, 18-year-old high school senior Jayden Sutton was determined to work, support himself, and build a better future.

But getting to work was not easy.

Without a car, Jayden reportedly walked nearly seven miles to his job, sometimes making the journey through rain and difficult weather.

Then one evening, someone noticed.

Local resident Lavonda Wright Myers saw Jayden walking in the rain and learned about the long journey he regularly made just to get to work.

Instead of simply driving past, she decided to help.

Lavonda created a fundraiser to raise enough money to purchase Jayden a vehicle.

The community responded.

Within just two days, more than $6,300 had reportedly been raised. With additional help, including assistance from Nalley Honda, a vehicle was found within the available budget.

Then, on January 14, 2021, Jayden received the keys.

It was more than transportation.

A car meant fewer hours spent walking.

It meant greater safety.

It meant easier access to work and school.

And it gave a hardworking young man another opportunity to continue building his future.

Jayden's determination inspired one person to act.

That person's kindness inspired an entire community to contribute.

Sometimes changing someone's life begins with something incredibly simple:

Noticing their struggle and deciding not to walk away.

DEMOCRATIC TURNOUT SURGES IN WISCONSIN GOVERNOR’S PRIMARY

Wisconsin’s gubernatorial primary is drawing attention after Democratic voters turned out in substantially larger numbers than Republicans in the statewide contest.

Democrats cast roughly 300,000 more votes across their gubernatorial primary than Republicans did in theirs, according to reported election totals.

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley ultimately emerged from an extremely competitive Democratic contest, narrowly defeating state Rep. Francesca Hong.

On the Republican side, U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany secured the GOP nomination and will face Crowley in November. Tiffany entered the primary with President Donald Trump’s endorsement.

The turnout difference has energized Democrats who see Wisconsin as one of the most important battleground states heading into the 2026 midterm elections.

But primary turnout should not automatically be treated as a prediction of the November result.

Competitive primaries can produce significantly different participation levels between parties, and Wisconsin remains one of the most closely divided political battlegrounds in America.

Still, Democrats have reason to pay attention to the enthusiasm demonstrated in the primary.

Hundreds of thousands more Democratic primary votes were cast than Republican ones.

Now comes the real test:

Can that enthusiasm carry into November?

ACTOR DANIEL HENNEY PERSONALLY HELPS RESCUE 67 DOGS FROM SOUTH KOREAN FARM

Daniel Henney did more than simply speak about a cause he believes in.

He showed up and helped carry the dogs to safety himself.

The American-Korean actor joined Humane World for Animals and rescue workers at a dog meat farm in Cheongju, South Korea, where dogs had reportedly been bred for the industry for decades.

Henney was photographed and filmed working alongside the rescue team, personally lifting dogs from their cages and helping prepare them for transportation.

A total of 67 dogs were rescued, including Jindo mixes and newborn puppies.

The animals were subsequently transported to the United States and Canada, where adoption organizations are working to place them in permanent homes.

For Henney, the issue is personal.

In 2020, he adopted a dog rescued from a South Korean dog meat farm and has since publicly advocated for ending the industry.

South Korea has now enacted legislation banning the breeding, slaughter, distribution, and sale of dogs for meat. The law provides a transition period before the prohibition takes full effect in 2027, requiring remaining businesses in the industry to close or transition away from it.

For these 67 dogs, however, the change has already arrived.

They went from cages on a farm to an opportunity for an entirely different future.

Henney could have simply used his celebrity platform to raise awareness.

Instead, he went to the farm.

He opened cages.

He carried dogs.

And he helped give them a second chance.

TERRENCE K. WILLIAMS SPARKS DEBATE WITH CLAIM THAT MUSLIMS SHOULD NOT HOLD PUBLIC OFFICE

Conservative commentator Terrence K. Williams has generated controversy after arguing that Muslims should not be allowed to hold public office in the United States.

The statement raises a fundamental question about religious freedom and the constitutional requirements for serving in government.

The U.S. Constitution directly addresses religious qualifications for federal public office.

Article VI states that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”

That principle means Americans cannot be constitutionally excluded from federal public office simply because they are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, atheist, or belong to another faith.

The First Amendment also protects the free exercise of religion and prevents the government from establishing an official religion.

Americans remain free to strongly disagree with the beliefs, policies, or political positions of any individual candidate.

Voters can evaluate candidates based on their character, competence, policies, judgment, and commitment to the Constitution.

But excluding an entire religious group from eligibility for public office is a fundamentally different proposition.

Religious liberty does not mean protecting only the religions with which we personally agree.

It means protecting the right of Americans to practice their faith without government discrimination.

Political disagreements will continue.

Religious disagreements will continue.

But under America's constitutional system, someone's religion alone does not determine whether they are eligible to serve their country.

I wonder what else it could be.

82-YEAR-OLD KENTUCKY WOMAN REPORTEDLY TURNS DOWN $26 MILLION TO PROTECT FAMILY FARMLAND

An 82-year-old Kentucky woman and her family reportedly walked away from an offer worth approximately $26 million for hundreds of acres of farmland that has been in their family for generations.

According to reports, an unnamed AI company was interested in purchasing roughly 600 acres near Maysville, Kentucky, for a proposed data center.

The offer was reportedly close to ten times the typical value of farmland in the area.

For Ida Huddleston and her family, however, the decision was about more than money.

Huddleston's daughter, Delsia Bare, reportedly initially signed an agreement before withdrawing amid concerns about the potential environmental and infrastructure impact of a massive data center, including its electricity and water requirements.

Instead, the family decided to keep farming.

“They call us old stupid farmers, but we're not,” Huddleston reportedly told local media.

The story highlights a growing debate emerging alongside America's rapid expansion of artificial intelligence infrastructure.

AI data centers can require enormous amounts of land, electricity, water, and supporting infrastructure. At the same time, they can bring substantial investment and economic opportunities to communities.

For landowners, that can create an extraordinarily difficult choice.

Take a life-changing amount of money.

Or preserve land that represents generations of family history.

For Huddleston's family, at least for now, the answer is clear.

They chose the farm.

Would you turn down $26 million to protect land that had been in your family for generations?
