Lol, bendito, this made me think of my mom. She would also call out everyone else’s name except for who she really meant. Then, after the rundown, she said the name. Damn, I really miss her.

Today was different. Today, I felt this pang in my heart so strongly that it took my breath away. I had been letting glimpses of my life enter my memories, and I did not die, so I thought I was cured! But as the ache surged through me, I realized that healing isn’t always linear, and sometimes the past still has a way of haunting us when we least expect it.

In that moment, it became clear that the wounds we thought had healed could still ache with sudden intensity. It’s a reminder that scars may fade, but they never truly disappear. Each memory, each fragment of my past, is a thread woven into the fabric of who I am.

Healing isn’t about erasing the past, but about learning to live with it, to find strength in the scars, and to keep moving forward, even when the road is rough and the heart is heavy.

Everyday, I give it a new try.
