Grenada has warned that the U.S. travel advisory is hurting its tourism sector.
That’s something for all of us in St. Kitts and Nevis to think about.

Tourism is our lifeblood. One advisory can affect jobs, small businesses, and families overnight. This is exactly why smart diplomacy matters.

The Dr. Terrance Drew administration continues to engage through dialogue, cooperation, and respect on the international stage, protecting our national image while safeguarding our economy. Quiet, mature diplomacy doesn’t always make headlines, but it delivers results.

In a global world, relationships matter. How we are perceived matters. And leadership that understands this is leadership that protects the people.

This is why diplomacy over drama will always serve St. Kitts and Nevis better. 🇰🇳

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
The U.S. State Department has issued a Level 2 Travel Alert for Grenada 🇬🇩

Level 2 means: Exercise Increased Caution.

This raises serious questions👇
• What’s really happening on the ground?
• How does this affect tourism, investment, and the diaspora?
• Are our leaders taking this seriously enough?

Grenada has long been marketed as a safe paradise, so when the U.S. issues an alert, the world pays attention.

No panic. No fear-mongering.
But transparency, leadership, and accountability matter.

What’s your take?
Is this being blown out of proportion, or is it a wake-up call?

🚨 U.S. NOW REQUIRING VISA BONDS UP TO $15,000 — CARIBBEAN HIT 🇺🇸💸

The U.S. has nearly TRIPLED the number of countries whose citizens may be forced to pay $5,000–$15,000 just to APPLY for a tourist/business visa.

🇦🇬 Antigua & Barbuda
🇩🇲 Dominica
are now on the list.

⚠️ Paying the bond does NOT guarantee a visa.
💰 Money is refunded only if the visa is denied or you prove you left the U.S. on time.

📅 Starts Jan 21, 2026
🌍 Now affects 38 countries

Is this about stopping overstays or pricing poorer nations out of legal travel?

💬 Fair or foul? Let’s talk.

💔 We are grieving two heartbreaking losses caused by senseless violence.

✨ Iryna Zarutska, only 23, fled the war in Ukraine searching for peace and safety. Her life was stolen on public transportation in Charlotte.

✨ Charlie Kirk, a national political voice, was shot and killed while speaking to students at a university in Utah.

Two very different lives, two very different stories—but one painful truth:

👉 Violence is never justified.

👉 Murder is never the answer.

Our prayers are with their families, friends, and communities. May the memories of Iryna and Charlie inspire us to reject hatred, protect human dignity, and choose compassion over cruelty.

🕯️ Rest in peace, Iryna and Charlie.

🇰🇳 St. Kitts & Nevis Mourns Sir Edmund Lawrence 🇰🇳

The Federation is deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Edmund Lawrence, former Governor-General, at the age of 93.

From 2013–2015, he served with honor and dignity, bringing to the office a lifetime of leadership. 🔥 Jamaica Wants Change, But Not Just Any Change! 🔥

Jamaica’s future isn’t just about change it’s about finding leadership the people can trust.

The latest polls show Jamaicans are tired of the status quo. Almost 1 in 3 say they’re ready to support the Opposition, while another 1 in 3 still stand with the Government. But here’s the real story 👉 nearly 40% are either undecided or don’t trust either side.

✅ Jamaicans want a new direction.
❌ But they’re not convinced the Opposition can deliver it.
⚖️ Both parties are locked in a dead heat and trust is the deciding factor.

The people are speaking loud and clear: “We want change, but we want leaders we can actually believe in.”

🔴 In Claxton Bay, an 18-year-old is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the chest while defending a female relative from a stranger who was throwing stones at their home. Police later arrested a 25-year-old suspect.

🔴 Just hours earlier in Sangre Grande, a 15-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint after refusing to hand over his cellphone. The bandits snatched the phone and fled.

👉 Two different communities. Two teens targeted. One night of violence.
When will it end?
