A butcher once insulted and cursed the Brisker Rav, and did not calm down until he even struck him. The Rav left the place, but later returned and repeated again and again: *“I forgive, I forgive!”* The next day, an ox gored the butcher and killed him. The Rav feared that this tragedy had come as a result of his own grievance. But then his son reminded him: *“Father, I heard you forgive him.”* The Rav was comforted. Sometimes, beyond the Rav’s immense humility, leaving a dispute in the hands of Heaven may actually harm the other person more. If the Rav had not forgiven, then in Heaven they would have waited to see how he himself would wage his battles. If you have a conflict with someone, make peace, and above all — forgive. Tonight, as you say *“I hereby forgive”* in the bedtime Shema, direct your intention toward specific people who hurt you, and ask Hashem for the strength to truly forgive.

"And He heard their groaning" - Sometimes you want something very much and Hashem does not give it to you according to your schedule - the solution is to let go and say to Him: Ribono shel Olam , bless you, do with me as you wish. And distract yourself with good deeds - buy alms of righteousness - and every time the desire awakens in you, remember to open your hands and satisfy every living desire! The desire came from heaven - if you miss something, it means it misses you - it belongs to you, it is yours, it is waiting for you - at the right time! 💝💖💝
